Chiang Rai & Long Neck

One full day trip to Chiang Rai, located 150 kilometres from Chiang Mai city, will make the first stop at Hot Spring. Visit at the White Temple in Chiang Rai to enjoy the unique architecture. Visit Yao, Akha and Long Neck hill tribe villages. Then drive to visit The Golden Triangle where the three countries meet (Thai, Burma and Laos). In the afternoon, visit Mae Sai, the Burma border where you can enjoy shopping at your leisure.
Itinerary
7.00-7.30 am. Start picking up guests from hotel in the city first, then move to other area. If you are outside of town, please allow more time for pick up.
9.00 am. Arrive at the first stop Maekajan Hot Spring
11.00 am. Visit White Temple
12.30 pm. Stop at Long Neck Karen Hill Tribes Village
1.00 pm. Lunch at local restaurant at Golden Triangle (Buffet Style)
2.00 pm. Visit Golden Triangle Viewpoint: the border where 3 countries Thailand, Myanmar, Loas meets.
Optional Tour: Boat trip along Mae Kong River to Don Sao Island in Laos country.
4.00 pm. Continue to Mae Sai Border of Myanmar
5.00 pm. End of the program. Leave Chiang Rai and drive to Chiang Mai
9.00 pm. Arrive Chiang Mai and drop off at your hotel.

Optional tour is also available. Boat trip Don Sao Island is worth visiting as you are just one step away to Laos country. Only 330 baht per person. Make sure you have your passport with you. Just advise your tour guide if you would like to have this memorable experience.
